A tri vision billboard is a frame of three-sided slats. Slide the knob on its side and every slat turns together, so the frame shows picture A, B or C. Choose your three pictures in the browser and download a print file with every part laid out.
How it works
Each slat carries a strip of all three pictures on clip-on plates. A toothed slider in the side box turns every slat by the same gear, and the knob clicks at the top, middle and bottom. A motion check sweeps the slider before you download, so no two parts touch while it turns.
Your pictures
Use any image file, a map of any place, a test pattern or a plain color for each of the three pictures and for the name plate. A map picture is drawn from OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps data for the area you frame. Each picture is cropped to the frame and printed in 2 to 4 filament colors, and the editor can suggest colors that suit your images.
Made for printing
The recommended size, three slats 20 mm wide and 60 mm long, is the one that has been printed and tested; frames of 2 to 16 slats are checked in software. The 3MF opens in Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer with its plates, part names and print settings for a Bambu Lab A1 already set. A snap test card and a pull-out test panel help you dial in the fit first.
Change the pictures later
Slats come out of the front and their picture plates slide off, so you can print just a new set of plates and click them on.
Common questions
Do I need a multicolor printer?
The frame and slats print in one filament. The pictures use 2 to 4 filaments, so a printer that changes filament on its own makes them easiest; otherwise swap filament by hand where the slicer pauses.
How big can it be?
From 2 to 16 slats, 16 to 40 mm wide and 40 to 230 mm long, as long as every part fits your printer bed. The recommended size of three 20 mm slats, 60 mm long, is the one that has been printed and tested.
Are my pictures uploaded?
No. Image files are read in your browser, the parts are built on your device, and the 3MF is written locally. A map picture loads map data for the area you frame, and a place search uses Mini Skyline's location search, as on the map page.
Is it free?
Yes. Like the rest of Mini Skyline, it needs no account and no payment.
