Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Thin spire

A tall tower with a thin spire rewards a larger print and slow printing. Keep layers at 0.12–0.16 mm and choose Full detail.

  2. One piece with the ground

101 Collins Street is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 101 Collins Street takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About 101 Collins Street

Rising 260 m (850 ft), 101 Collins Street stands on Collins Street in Melbourne's central business district, Victoria, Australia. Denton Corker Marshall designed the 57-story building, which was completed in March 1991. Near the end of the project, after a change of developer, John Burgee designed the foyer; he is regarded as a pioneer of postmodern architecture.

The tower overtook Rialto Towers to become the tallest building in Melbourne and in Australia, a position it held until August 1991, the month 120 Collins Street was finished. Its tallest architectural point is a 60 m (200 ft) spire, which brings the building up to its full architectural height.

The building contains 83,000 square meters (890,000 square feet) of rentable space, with an unusually large floor-to-ceiling height for a skyscraper, 2.77 meters (9 ft 1 in). Its 30 m (98 ft) elevators reach 7 m/s (23 ft/s). The garage holds 414 cars underground. Windows are double-glazed, with a surface-coated tempered glass that raises thermal efficiency.
