Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tall, twisting shafts

The tower is tall and slim, and it twists as it rises. Print slowly with good cooling to keep the upper floors clean, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers so the twist stays smooth.

  2. One piece with the ground

Absolute World is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Absolute World takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Absolute World

Absolute World is a pair of residential condominium towers in Mississauga, Ontario, part of Absolute City Centre, a development of five towers. Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen Development Group built the project. Absolute City Centre 1, Absolute City Centre 2 and Absolute Vision were the first three towers to be completed; the last two, Absolute World 4 and 5, reach 50 and 56 stories. Both towers are known as the "Marilyn Monroe Towers" for their sinuous shape.

Yansong Ma, founder of the Beijing architectural firm MAD, won the 2004 competition to design the fourth tower. Within days of that decision, the taller tower was nicknamed for Marilyn Monroe, for its curvaceous, hourglass figure. The Toronto firm Burka Varacalli Architects joined MAD in April 2007 as its local partner, and the structural design was by Sigmund Soudack & Associates Inc. The bigger tower turns 209 degrees between its base and its top, like the Turning Torso in Malmö, Sweden.

Six levels of parking sit under the tower, and MAD and Fernbrook were the project managers. On June 14, 2012, a council of architects and engineers based in Chicago reported that the towers ranked among the best new skyscrapers in the world, and the building also won the Emporis Skyscraper Award in 2012.

About this model

Absolute World is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
