Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A small temple at print scale

This treasury is one of the smallest landmarks here, so the two columns, pediment and steps crowd together at the default size. Scale the print up to keep them separate.

  2. Metopes and fluting

The frieze panels and column flutes are shallow relief. Print friendly adapts them at small scale; Full detail keeps them for a larger print or a fine nozzle.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Athenian Treasury is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Athenian Treasury takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Athenian Treasury

At Delphi, the Athenians built this treasury as a store for the dedications and votive offerings that their city and its citizens gave to Apollo's sanctuary. Parian marble forms the whole structure, sculpture included. The building sits just under the Temple of Apollo, beside the Sacred Way that visitors followed upward to the sanctuary.

Scholars disagree about the date, placing construction somewhere between 510 and 480 BCE. Pausanias held that the building came from spoils taken at Marathon in 490 BCE, and some metopes show that battle. The frieze has thirty panels, each 67 cm high and 62 to 64 cm wide, with deeds of Theseus and Herakles. Theseus appears here in what is the earliest known large-scale sculpture of him, and the two heroes are shown together in the oldest surviving pairing.

This was the first treasury dedicated by Athens at a Panhellenic sanctuary, and other city-states also built treasuries at Delphi. Excavation fell to the French School at Athens under Pierre de La Coste-Messelière, and the building was reconstructed between 1903 and 1906. It remains in place, but the metopes on view are reproductions; the originals belong to the museum at Delphi.
