Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Two long roof arches

Two huge arches curve over the stands, linked to the roof by many thin vertical hangers. Print friendly adapts these thin parts to your print scale; Full detail keeps them. Print slowly with good cooling to keep the curves clean.

  2. Fine seating rows

The oval bowl is made of many narrow stepped rows. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep them crisp, and a larger print gives each row more width.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Athens Olympic Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Athens Olympic Stadium takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Athens Olympic Stadium

The Athens Olympic Stadium stands in Marousi, in the north of Athens, Greece. It is one part of OAKA, the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, and is named for Spyros Louis, who won the first modern Olympic marathon gold medal in 1896. It was the main stadium for the 2004 Summer Olympics and Paralympics and held their opening and closing ceremonies.

Built to host the 1982 European Athletics Championships, the stadium was designed in 1980 and built between 1980 and 1982. President of Greece Konstantinos Karamanlis inaugurated it on September 8, 1982, and European media dubbed it "The modern Greek Wonder". It went on to host the European Cup final in 1983, between Hamburger SV and Juventus, and again in 1994, between Milan and Barcelona, plus the 2007 UEFA Champions League final contested by Milan and Liverpool. Other events included the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1987, the Mediterranean Games of 1991 and the World Championships in Athletics of 1997.

Between 2002 and 2004 the stadium was substantially renovated for the Olympics. Its trademark roof was designed by Santiago Calatrava and positioned with Enerpac hydraulics; it was added above the sidelines and finished just in time for the Games. The stadium was officially reopened on July 30, 2004, and held the opening ceremony on August 13 and the closing ceremony on August 29. It staged the Olympic athletics competitions and football finals, plus the Paralympic athletics. Its turf is natural grass in modular containers that include irrigation and drainage systems.
