About BMO Stadium
BMO Stadium, built specifically for soccer, sits in Los Angeles, California, in the Exposition Park neighborhood. It is home to two clubs: Los Angeles FC, of Major League Soccer, and Angel City FC, a team in the National Women's Soccer League. Its opening on April 18, 2018, made it the city's first newly built open-air stadium since Dodger Stadium in 1962. Because of advertising rules, it is called Los Angeles Stadium in North American competitions.
The stadium replaced the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena that previously stood on its site, beside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and a short distance south of the University of Southern California's main campus. It seats 22,000. The stands are raked at 34 degrees, among the steepest in MLS; the nearest seats are 3.7 m (12 ft) from the field, and every seat is within 41 m (135 ft) of it. A northeast section was designed open to take in views of the San Gabriel Mountains and the skyline of downtown Los Angeles.
The roof carries 18,000 square meters (190,000 square feet) of ETFE film, and the building is LEED Silver certified. The first public event was a dedication ceremony and open practice, held April 18, 2018. Against Seattle Sounders FC on April 29, the club won its first match there 1–0. The 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup used the stadium as a venue, with two Group C matches, and it held the 2021 MLS All-Star Game.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 9 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 11 mm | 1:3,000 |

- Slim angled outer supports
- Slim angled supports ring the outer edge of the stadium. Print friendly adapts these thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps every one, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
- Many thin seating tiers
- The stands are modeled as many thin tiers. A bigger print size keeps them distinct, and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the steps crisp.
- One piece with the ground
- BMO Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. BMO Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
BMO Stadium is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a BMO Stadium STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. BMO Stadium grows with the print: about 9 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
