7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Small roof and entrance details
Small details such as roof edges and entrances are tiny at print scale. A larger print or Full detail with a fine nozzle keeps more of them.
- One piece with the ground
The Casino de Charlevoix is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Casino de Charlevoix takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Casino de Charlevoix
The historic Manoir Richelieu hotel stands right beside the Casino de Charlevoix. The casino is in Pointe-au-Pic, a community that has become part of La Malbaie, roughly 150 kilometers (93 mi) east of Quebec City. As a tourist destination, Charlevoix is very popular, and it lies close to the Laurentian Mountains and the Saint Lawrence River.
The casino was inaugurated on June 24, 1994, in the former summer playhouse of the Manoir Richelieu, on the cliffs at Pointe-au-Pic, which is a panoramic spot that vacationers have visited for over a century. The hotel was built in 1928–1929 in the Châteauesque style, with John Archibald as architect, replacing the original 250 room structure of 1899, which was destroyed in a fire.
Loto-Québec joined forces in 1998 with Canadian Pacific Hotels, and with the Solidarity Fund QFL, to buy the Manoir Richelieu, refurbish it and enlarge the casino. The complex reopened in June 1999, and the casino became the first Québec casino connected to a hotel.
About this model
The Casino de Charlevoix is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
