  1. Spire and twin towers

The renders show a slim central spire, two tall western towers and many small pinnacles. Print slowly with good cooling, at 0.12–0.16 mm layers, and consider Print friendly if the spire is too fine at small sizes.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Newark is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Newark takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Newark

Newark's Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart sits in New Jersey, in Newark's Lower Broadway neighborhood. Its archdiocese is the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark, of which it is the seat. It faces Branch Brook Park. It is described as North America's fifth-largest cathedral, and its name refers to the Catholic devotion to what is called the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Building began in 1899 and finished in 1954. An English-Irish Gothic Revival church was the first plan, which later gave way to a French Gothic Revival design. It is generally regarded as an especially exact example of French Gothic design in the Western Hemisphere. The structure is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Zettler studio stained glass forms large circular rose windows that decorate the building. Above the main entrance is a 36-foot rose window, the largest window of its type that the Catholic Church has in the Western Hemisphere. The church also holds the largest pipe organ the Schantz Organ Company ever built, and six chapels are arranged around the ambulatory behind the main altar.
