  1. Slender bell tower and cross

The tower and the cross on top are the thinnest parts of this model. Print slowly with cooling, and use 0.12-0.16 mm layers; a larger print keeps the cross intact.

  2. One piece with the ground

New Hope Baptist Church, Newark is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. New Hope Baptist Church, Newark takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About New Hope Baptist Church, Newark

New Hope Baptist Church is in Newark, New Jersey, at 106 Sussex Avenue, within University Heights, and belongs to the National Baptist Convention, USA. It began as a "mission" held at the home of Addie Vine and Maggie Vine. Newark's small but growing African-American community organized it on June 2, 1903, and it was incorporated on May 1, 1918.

The singer Whitney Houston is among its famous members. She was raised in the congregation and sang in the choir, as did cousins named Dionne and Dee Dee Warwick. Funeral services for Whitney Houston were held there, and in 2024 so were those of her mother, Cissy Houston, a lifelong member who served on the Deaconess Board. Teenagers from the church choir who sang in a recreation hall at the Baxter Terrace housing projects went on to become the doo-wop group the Monotones.
