Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tower and roof edges
A church tower and pitched roof edges are the fine parts of a small model. Print it larger, or use 0.12–0.16 mm layers, so they stay crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Church of St. Martin in the Wall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Church of St. Martin in the Wall takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Church of St. Martin in the Wall
St. Martin in the Wall is a Gothic church with a Romanesque base in Prague's Old Town, in Czechia. Construction took place between 1178 and 1187, when the site was the village of Újezd, later called Újezd u svatého Martina. Its south wall stood against the walls of the Old Town, which gave the church its name. It is part of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren.
During the 1230s, when the Old Town walls were built, Újezd was divided and the smaller part containing the church became part of the Old Town. The church gained its present ground plan in late Gothic rebuilding completed in 1488 with funding from the citizen Viktorin Holec. Gothic changes had begun after 1350 under Charles IV, when the shrine was built in 1358 and the nave was extended and vaulted.
In 1414 the church saw Bohemia's first Communion under both kinds, given by its pastor Jacob of Mies. In 1784 Emperor Joseph II ordered the church closed by imperial decree; it was sold at auction in 1785 and turned into a residence, with shops on the lower floor. The City of Prague bought it in 1904, and Kamil Hilbert led its reconstruction; after World War I it passed into the care of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren.
