Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Roofline on a low block

A Neoclassical theater is a low, wide block, so its roofline and wall edges carry the shape. Print it at 200 mm or larger, and keep layers at 0.12 to 0.16 mm so the corners stay crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Estates Theatre is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Estates Theatre takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Estates Theatre

The Estates Theatre, in Prague, is a Neoclassical building. Anton Haffenecker designed it, and it went up in a little under two years for Franz Anton von Nostitz-Rieneck, an aristocrat. Its first performance, in 1783, was Emilia Galotti, the tragedy by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing; the building answered Enlightenment ideas about general access to the stage. It is one of the few European theaters preserved in almost its original state, and above the portal runs its Latin motto, Patriae et Musis.

Mozart conducted the world premiere of Don Giovanni here on October 29, 1787, from the keyboard, with a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte. According to a Prague newspaper, threefold cheers greeted him on the way in and on the way out. The first night was a success, and Emperor Joseph II asked for the opera to be staged in Vienna the next year. It is the only functioning theater left in the world where Mozart himself conducted the world premiere of one of his own operas; he also led the premiere there in 1791 of La clemenza di Tito.

The Bohemian Estates bought the building in 1798. The National Theatre took it over in 1948, when it was renamed the Tyl Theatre, after the dramatist J. K. Tyl; an eight-year reconstruction ended in 1990, when the old name came back. It draws on three ensembles, opera, ballet and drama. The opera scenes in Miloš Forman's film Amadeus were mostly filmed there, and in 2000 the statue Il Commendatore by Anna Chromy, which takes its subject from Don Giovanni, was placed in front.
