Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Corner tower and tile roof
The small corner tower with its shallow tile roof and the cast-stone frieze carry the building's character. Print larger or use Full detail so the frieze and showroom openings stay crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The DeSoto Six Motorcars Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The DeSoto Six Motorcars Building takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the DeSoto Six Motorcars Building
The DeSoto Six Motorcars Building is a 1928 Spanish Colonial Revival building at 915 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix. It was built for C. P. Stephens's DeSoto Six automobile dealership, and Stephens occupied the location through the late 1940s. The property stayed in automotive use until 1970. Phoenix architects McDonald and Morrison designed the building.
The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under reference number 13000019. It later became known as DeSoto Central Market; a city transit report from 2015–2016 described the market as a multi-use space containing restaurant stalls, a bar, and rooms available for private meetings and events. The report records the use at that time.
