About Dignity Health Sports Park
Dignity Health Sports Park, a complex for several sports, sits on the Carson, California, grounds of California State University, Dominguez Hills. It has a soccer stadium with 27,000 seats, a tennis stadium with 8,000 seats, a track-and-field facility with 2,000 permanent seats that can expand to 20,000, and a velodrome with 2,450 seats, the VELO Sports Center. The complex lies to the south of downtown Los Angeles, at a distance of about 14 miles (23 km), and Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy is its primary tenant.
The $150 million complex opened in 2003 and was developed and run by the Anschutz Entertainment Group; the soccer stadium accounted for around $87 million of that. Pelé attended the opening match in June 2003. During its first decade the park was called Home Depot Center, and it became StubHub Center on June 1, 2013. On January 1, 2019, it became Dignity Health Sports Park, after a new naming rights agreement with the healthcare provider Dignity Health.
The stadium was the site of the final of the Women's World Cup that FIFA held in 2003, and it staged the MLS All-Star Game that same year, along with the first three editions of the USA Sevens rugby tournament, held from 2004 to 2006. From 2017 to 2019 it was the temporary home of the NFL's Los Angeles Chargers, who funded a $10 million renovation in 2017 before moving in.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 10 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 12 mm | 1:3,000 |

- Stepped, tiered stands
- The stands are built from many thin, sloping tiers. Print friendly adapts these small steps to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
- Slim supports along the walls
- Rows of narrow supports line the lower outer walls. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep these slim parts crisp, and a larger print size helps them hold their shape.
- One piece with the ground
- Dignity Health Sports Park is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Dignity Health Sports Park takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Dignity Health Sports Park is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Common questions
Is there a Dignity Health Sports Park STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Dignity Health Sports Park grows with the print: about 10 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
