Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tower and gabled facade

The tall tower, chimneys and decorated gable are small, sharp features. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.

  2. Fine brick detail

Arched windows and trim bands cover the street front. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Engine House No. 3, Truck No. 2 is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Engine House No. 3, Truck No. 2 takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Engine House No. 3, Truck No. 2

Engine Company No. 3 stands in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey. The firehouse was designed by Hoboken architect Charles Fall and built in 1892. Its style is Romanesque Revival. On March 30, 1984, the National Register of Historic Places added the firehouse to its list.

It has two stories and a fire watch tower. Field stone forms the foundation, and brick with sandstone trim forms the walls. Builders presumably first used a slate roof, but it has since been replaced. M. Foley & Son did the masonry, and A.W. Clayton was the carpenter.
