4 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Small domed turrets
Two small domed turrets with finials sit at the front corners. They are tiny at this scale; Print friendly adapts them, while Full detail on a larger print keeps more of their shape.
- Arched front facade
The front is richly detailed with arches and a round window. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps that relief crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The United Synagogue of Hoboken is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The United Synagogue of Hoboken takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the United Synagogue of Hoboken
Hoboken, in Hudson County, New Jersey, is home to the United Synagogue of Hoboken, a Conservative synagogue. Its 1946 formation came when The Hoboken Jewish Center merged with The Star of Israel Synagogue. Moses Montefiore Synagogue had also been asked to take part, but declined after learning that services would have mixed seating.
Congregation Star of Israel's building dates to 1915, and it counts among New Jersey's oldest synagogue buildings. After two decades of being closed, it reopened in 1989. A thorough external restoration finished in 2009, with help from the New Jersey Historic Trust, which provided a matching grant of $280,000. It appears on both the state and national registers of historic places.
