21 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Balcony slabs and railings
The stacked balcony slabs, thin rail tops and open roof skeleton are the finest repeated details. Print larger or use Full detail so the slab edges and railings stay sharp.
- One piece with the ground
The Executive Towers is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Executive Towers takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Executive Towers
Executive Towers at 207 W. Clarendon in Phoenix was completed in July 1963. The 22-story building was designed by Alfred Newman Beadle, who worked at the firm Alan A. Dailey and Associates, which was architect of record. At that point it was the tallest building in Phoenix and in Arizona. It cost $4.5 million and contained 160 apartments.
Executive Towers is described as a strong architectural statement in mid-century Modernism and the work of a master. The tower is on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1971, Chicago's Moss Development Corporation turned the 160 apartments into condominiums, and Phoenix added the building to its city historic register in 2018.
