5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A rooftop skylight grid
A lattice-like skylight sits on the roof, and the cornice has small brackets. Print friendly adapts these fine parts; Full detail keeps them, best at larger print sizes.
- One piece with the ground
Ficken's Warehouse is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Ficken's Warehouse takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Ficken's Warehouse
Ficken's Warehouse is in Bergen Hill, Jersey City, in Hudson County, New Jersey. Its National Register of Historic Places listing dates to June 14, 1984. It is classed as both a warehouse and a stable, which matches how it was first used.
John H. Fickens built it in 1910, and it was first used as a stable and warehouse. Later, for 50 years, it housed the Bergen Station Post Office. After that it was converted to residential use, so the building has served as a stable, a warehouse, a post office and housing.
