About 30 Hudson Street
30 Hudson Street, also known as the Goldman Sachs Tower, is a 42-story office tower standing 781 ft (238 m) tall in Jersey City, New Jersey. César Pelli designed it, and it was completed in 2004. For 14 years it held the title of tallest building in New Jersey. The site is on the waterfront, with views across the Hudson River to Lower Manhattan, in the Exchange Place district near a PATH station.
Inside are offices, a health unit, a cafeteria and a fitness facility with a physical therapy clinic. Goldman Sachs first meant the tower as a dedicated base for its middle and back office teams, as the centerpiece of a campus planned for Exchange Place. About 4,000 of its employees moved in. The tower holds LEED-NC Version 2.0 certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. On a clear day it may be seen from up to 40 miles (64 km) away, including from Bear Mountain in New York to the north.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 65 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 81 mm | 1:3,000 |

- Stepped tiers and fine ribbing
- The tower narrows in tiers, and each tier has fine vertical ribs. Print friendly adapts the ribs to your print scale; Full detail keeps them all, which suits a larger print.
- Slender silhouette
- Because the tower is tall and slim, print slowly with good cooling, and consider a layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm so the upper tiers stay crisp.
- One piece with the ground
- 30 Hudson Street is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 30 Hudson Street takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions
Is there a 30 Hudson Street STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. 30 Hudson Street grows with the print: about 65 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
