About Gainbridge Fieldhouse

Gainbridge Fieldhouse, an indoor multi-purpose arena, stands in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. It replaced Market Square Arena when it opened in November 1999. The NBA's Indiana Pacers and the WNBA's Indiana Fever call it home. It also stages college basketball, among them the annual Big Ten Conference tournaments, plus indoor concerts and family events. The arena was first called Conseco Fieldhouse, taking its name from the financial firm Conseco, became Bankers Life Fieldhouse in December 2011, and took the Gainbridge name when that company became its naming rights sponsor in 2021.

Ellerbe Becket gave the arena a distinctive brick and glass facade, meant to recall the classic field houses of Indiana's high schools and colleges. Unlike most North American sports arenas, it was designed mainly for basketball, though it can fit an NHL-sized rink. For hockey, seating falls to 12,500 in an uneven layout. Its basketball capacity is 17,923.

The first NBA game there was played on November 6, 1999, when the Pacers hosted the Boston Celtics in their regular-season home opener. The Pacers reached the 2000 NBA Finals that season and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers four games to two. The arena also hosted the 2002 FIBA World Championship semifinals and final, and WNBA Finals games in 2009 and 2012. A $360 million renovation, finished in late 2022, added a new outdoor entry plaza and new indoor gathering areas.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 12 mm 1:3,750
200 mm 15 mm 1:3,000
256 mm 19 mm 1:2,344

Ribbed arched roof
The broad arched roof is covered in long, thin ribs. Print friendly adapts them to your print scale; Full detail keeps every rib, best for a larger print or a fine nozzle.
Rows of window bays
A row of tall window bays runs along the walls. A larger print keeps them open, and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep their edges crisp.
One piece with the ground
Gainbridge Fieldhouse is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Gainbridge Fieldhouse takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Gainbridge Fieldhouse is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there a Gainbridge Fieldhouse STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Gainbridge Fieldhouse grows with the print: about 12 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
