  1. A tall tower prints best slowly

Tall, narrow parts can wobble or blur during printing. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; printing slowly with cooling helps, and a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps vertical detail crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

Granville Square is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Granville Square takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Granville Square

Granville Square is a tower in the Financial District of Vancouver's downtown core, at 200 Granville Street, in British Columbia, Canada. Completed in 1973, it stands 138.4 meters (454 ft) tall. The building and its plaza sit beside Waterfront Station, formerly the CPR station, over the Canadian Pacific Railway's tracks.

Marathon Realty built Granville Square as headquarters space for the Canadian Pacific Railway, with construction running from 1971 to 1973. Only a few parts of Project 200 were ever completed, and this tower was one of them. That proposed mixed-use redevelopment covered Vancouver's Gastown and Downtown Eastside neighborhoods, with offices, hotels and residential towers over the railway tracks and other historic structures. Insufficient funding and grassroots opposition ended the plan.

The Vancouver Harbour Control Tower crowns the building and directs floatplanes taking off and landing on Burrard Inlet. The control tower reaches 142 meters. The Canada Green Building Council certified Granville Square as a Zero Carbon Building in 2022, following a number of decarbonization initiatives.

About this model

Granville Square is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
