7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Keep rooftop tubes distinct
The rounded roof carries small angled tubes. Choose Print friendly to adapt these details to a small print, or use a larger print with Full detail to retain every modeled feature.
- Smooth the curved roof
Use a slicer layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm to keep the rounded roof profile and the short rooftop projections crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Kunsthaus Graz is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Kunsthaus Graz takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Kunsthaus Graz
Kunsthaus Graz is an art museum in Graz, Austria, built in 2003 for the city's celebrations as a European Capital of Culture. Colin Fournier and Sir Peter Cook designed the building, an example of blob architecture. Its exterior uses blue, iridescent acrylic panels that also serve as photovoltaic panels. The unusual shape and contrast with neighboring buildings gave it the nickname "Friendly Alien." Incorporated into the museum is the facade of the Iron House, whose iron-framed structure dates to 1848.
The exhibition program focuses on contemporary work dating from the 1960s onward, bringing together architecture, design, film, photography and forms of digital art. Rather than maintaining a collection or permanent exhibitions, the institution stages international exhibitions and presents contemporary art productions. On the eastern facade, the BIX display uses 930 fluorescent lamps with individually adjustable brightness to show films and animations. Berlin architects realities:united devised the concept, which joined MoMA's permanent collection for architecture and design in 2011. The name BIX combines "big" with "pixels."
About this model
The Kunsthaus Graz is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
