About Lambeau Field

Lambeau Field is an outdoor stadium in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and the home field of the NFL's Green Bay Packers. It opened in 1957 as City Stadium, and its first eight seasons were played under the informal name New City Stadium. In August 1965 it was renamed in memory of Earl "Curly" Lambeau, the team's founder, a player and its long-time head coach, who had died two months earlier.

It was the first modern stadium constructed solely for an NFL team. Its site was chosen for a natural slope that suited a bowl shape, plus plenty of room for parking. It officially opened on September 29, 1957, when the Packers upset the Bears 21–17 before a capacity crowd of 32,132, and Vice President Richard Nixon dedicated it. The original cost was $960,000, and seating capacity was 32,500.

Its seating capacity is 81,441, and no NFL stadium has operated continuously for longer than Lambeau Field; the Packers finished their 51st season there in 2007, which broke the record the Chicago Bears had set at Wrigley Field. A $295 million renovation, which began in 2001 and finished in time for the 2003 season, updated the facilities and added premium and suite seating while preserving the seating bowl and the natural grass field. Its street address is 1265 Lombardi Avenue, a name adopted in 1968 when Highland Avenue was renamed for former head coach Vince Lombardi.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 900 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 14 mm 1:5,625
200 mm 17 mm 1:4,500
256 mm 22 mm 1:3,516

Concentric seating tiers
Thin curved tiers ring the field. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the steps distinct, and Print friendly adapts the finest ones to your print scale.
Tall side block and slim tower
A tall block rises along one side, with a slim tower near the corner. Printing slowly and letting layers cool helps these tall, thin parts.
One piece with the ground
Lambeau Field is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Lambeau Field takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Lambeau Field is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there a Lambeau Field STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Lambeau Field grows with the print: about 14 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
