6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Facade and roofline
A city palace of this kind has most of its detail in the facade and roofline. Print it larger or choose Full detail, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers to keep the edges clean.
- One piece with the ground
The Lázaro Galdiano Museum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Lázaro Galdiano Museum takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Lázaro Galdiano Museum
The Lázaro Galdiano Museum in Madrid, Spain, is an art museum holding the collection of José Lázaro Galdiano. The palatial building was put up in 1903 as the home of Galdiano and his wife, within grounds that also contain a library holding incunabula and manuscripts. The conversion into a museum kept the original interiors, including elaborate baroque painted ceilings that Galdiano commissioned.
Galdiano died in 1947 and left the Spanish State his entire personal collection, more than 12,000 items. The Fundación Lázaro Galdiano was created in 1948, refurbishment followed under Fernando Chueca Goitia, and the museum opened on January 27, 1951. The building received its Bien de Interés Cultural designation in 1962.
The collection ranges from prehistoric objects to nineteenth-century works, with an emphasis on Iberian art. It includes jewelry, small bronzes, silver for church and home, ceramics, carved ivory and coins, with pieces from Iberia as well as Limoges and Egypt. The painting collection holds work by artists such as El Greco, Velázquez, Goya, Zurbarán, Constable, Reynolds and Bosch.
