Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Wide halls, small details

A convention center spreads over a large footprint with many small roof and facade details. A larger print size keeps small details; Print friendly adapts the thinnest ones.

  2. One piece with the ground

Makuhari Messe is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Makuhari Messe takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Makuhari Messe

In the city of Chiba, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, just outside Tokyo, Makuhari Messe serves as a convention center. Fumihiko Maki designed it, and it opened on October 9, 1989. The area is called Makuhari, and "Messe" is a German word for "trade fair". Visitors can reach it from Kaihimmakuhari station, served by the Keiyō Line. Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu and the black sand beaches of Chiba prefecture are both close by.

Many annual events and trade shows take place here: the Tokyo Auto Salon in January, the Tokyo Game Show in September and Jump Festa in December. The Tokyo Motor Show, held every other year, runs in October. Wonder Festival, an exposition of toys, scale figures and garage kits, happens in February and July, and the venue hosts some stages of Summer Sonic, a music festival.

A Pokémon Trading Card Game tournament, the first official one, took place here on June 14–15, 1997. On July 31, 1999, the band GLAY played Glay Expo '99 Survival in the parking lot. The audience totaled 200,000 people, and Guinness World Records certified it as the biggest ticketed concert by a single act at that time. Several sports were also staged here during the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Tokyo 2020.

About this model

Makuhari Messe is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
