7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Facade and fine detail
A hall with a classical front facade has many small details. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps every modeled feature on a larger print or with a fine nozzle.
- One piece with the ground
Massey Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Massey Hall takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Massey Hall
Massey Hall, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is an auditorium for the performing arts. It stands where Shuter Street meets Victoria Street, a short way east of Yonge Street. It opened in 1894 and is known for outstanding acoustics. The Toronto Symphony Orchestra long performed there, as did the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. Industrialist Hart Massey gave it to the people of Toronto, and on June 15, 1981, Canada designated it a National Historic Site.
Sidney Badgley was the architect, and CA$152,390.75 was spent to complete the hall in 1894. The building has a neoclassical facade, and Moorish arches stretch across the interior hall, drawing on the Alhambra Palace in Spain and on Louis Sullivan's Chicago Auditorium. Thirty stained glass windows near the top each show a famous composer. The first concert, on June 14, 1894, featured a choir performing Handel's 'Messiah'.
Neil Young's show on January 19, 1971, was released as the live album Live at Massey Hall 1971. Rush made All the World's a Stage at the hall in June 1976. In May 1953 five leading jazz artists, among them Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie, played a concert that was recorded and issued as Jazz at Massey Hall.
About this model
Massey Hall is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
