11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A low civic building
The city hall is a broad, low building, so it prints small at the default size. A larger print size gives the civic massing more room; Print friendly adapts the smallest parts to the scale.
- One piece with the ground
The North Las Vegas City Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The North Las Vegas City Hall takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the North Las Vegas City Hall
North Las Vegas City Hall is the city hall of North Las Vegas, at 2250 Las Vegas Boulevard. The city broke ground on its new City Hall and Civic Plaza in June 2009, and city offices reopened there in 2011. The nine-story building covers 210,000 square feet.
The building was planned to house all city services in one place. Fentress designers drew on traditional civic architecture, with classic rhythms, a three-part massing and a civic palette of materials. The project received LEED Gold certification, and the move-in report put the new building at $127 million.
