About Puskás Aréna
Puskás Aréna stands in Zugló, the 14th district of Budapest, Hungary, and mainly hosts home matches for Hungary's national football team. It is an all-seater with a capacity of 67,215. It was built on the site where the former Ferenc Puskás Stadium stood; that stadium's demolition finished in October 2016. Both stadiums carry the name of Ferenc Puskás (1927–2006), a former captain of the national team.
Construction started in 2017 and finished before the end of 2019. The Hungarian architect György Skardelli, who designed the nearby László Papp Budapest Sports Arena, presented his original plans in 2014. Those designs, voted the best by Stadiumdb.com that year, included an elevated running track overlooking the pitch with views of the city skyline. As the construction budget inflated, two attempts at cutting unnecessary elements scaled the design back to a football-focused stadium.
The arena opened on November 15, 2019, with a match between Hungary and Uruguay, which Uruguay won 2–1. In 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, the UEFA Super Cup was moved to Budapest from Estádio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal. In May 2023 the stadium staged the UEFA Europa League final, in which Sevilla beat A.S. Roma on penalties after a 1–1 draw.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 750 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 13 mm | 1:4,688 |
| 200 mm | 16 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 256 mm | 20 mm | 1:2,930 |

- A broad overhanging roof ring
- The wide roof ring reaches out over the stands and outer wall. Printing slowly and at a larger size helps the overhang come out cleanly.
- Thin frames on the outer wall
- Many slim vertical frames line the outer wall. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print or with a fine nozzle, ideally with 0.12–0.16 mm layers.
- One piece with the ground
- Puskás Aréna is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Puskás Aréna takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Puskás Aréna is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Puskás Aréna STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Puskás Aréna grows with the print: about 13 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
