Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Bell tower and crown

The tower climbs in narrow, open belfry stages to a ribbed crown, orb and cross. Print friendly adapts these thin parts; Full detail keeps the open stages on a larger print.

  2. Arched facade and nave

Five entrance arches, a statue niche and repeated side windows cross the facade and nave walls. A 0.12–0.16 mm layer height and a bigger print keep the openings crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Sanctuary of Fátima is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Sanctuary of Fátima takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Sanctuary of Fátima

Cova da Iria, in the city of Fátima and municipality of Ourém, Portugal, holds this group of Catholic Church buildings. The complex is dedicated to the 1917 apparitions reported at Fátima. The shrine includes the basilica named for Our Lady of the Rosary as well as the Chapel of the Lausperene, a large oak near the reported apparition site, a monument to the Sacred Heart, and the Chapel of the Apparitions. Across from the main sanctuary stands the much larger Most Holy Trinity basilica.

Three children — Lúcia Santos, Jacinta Marto and Francisco Marto — reported their first vision of the Virgin Mary at Cova da Iria on May 13, 1917. In 1928, on the same date, the foundation stone for the basilica and its colonnade was laid; the work ran until 1954. Consecration of the church followed on October 7, 1953, and Pope Pius XII granted the title of basilica in November 1954.

The bell tower and nave rise about 65 meters (213 ft). A bronze crown weighing 7,000 kilograms (15,000 lb) and a cross top the tower, and the carillon has 62 bells. Gerardus Samuel van Krieken, who was born in Rotterdam and studied in Geneva, designed the church; he died before it was consecrated.
