Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Corner towers and spires

The model has two corner towers with tall, faceted spires. Print friendly adapts their thin tips to the print scale; a larger print or a fine nozzle keeps them crisp.

  2. Pitched roofs and window rows

The long wings carry pitched roofs and rows of windows. Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers to keep the roof ridges and window rows distinct, and print larger if they start to merge.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Santa Cruz Palace, Madrid is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Santa Cruz Palace, Madrid takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Santa Cruz Palace, Madrid

The Santa Cruz Palace, or Palacio de Santa Cruz, is a Baroque building in Madrid, Spain. Philip IV commissioned the work in 1629 to hold courts and a jail. Juan Gómez de Mora worked there until 1636. Later architects added elements, among them José del Olmo, Bartolomé Hurtado García and José de Villareal.

The building served as a jail. It is also called the Palace of the Holy Cross, and its name comes from the nearby church of Santa Cruz. A fire in 1791 destroyed everything but the facade. It houses the Spanish Foreign Ministry and is listed as a bien de interés cultural, a designation recorded in 1996.
