12 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Spire, dormers and pinnacles
A tall octagonal spire with a cross, small dormers on the roof and corner pinnacles are the finest parts. Print slowly with good cooling and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers; Print friendly adapts the spire tip.
- One piece with the ground
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church
In the part of Jersey City, New Jersey, called The Village, stands the historic Catholic church of St. Anthony of Padua. Bob Hurley, Sr. coached the boys’ basketball program at St. Anthony High School, the church’s former school, for which the church is best known.
Before the church was built, Polish parishioners from Jersey City crossed by ferry to St. Stanislaus Church in New York City. Built in 1892, it was meant for what is now New Jersey’s oldest Polish-speaking parish. The National Register of Historic Places listed it in 2004.
