Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Adam, Eve and the towers
The two towers at the eastern end are small features at print scale. Print friendly adapts them and the Baroque front; a larger print or Full detail keeps both towers crisp.
- Layers for the towers
The towers are where layer lines show first on a print this small. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm, with cooling on, keep their sides clean and their roofs straight.
- One piece with the ground
St. George's Basilica, Prague is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

About St. George's Basilica, Prague
Inside Prague Castle stands St. George's Basilica, the oldest church building to survive there, in the Czech Republic's capital. Vratislaus I of Bohemia founded it in 920 and dedicated it to Saint George. Its style is mainly Romanesque, and it forms part of the castle complex, the nation's political capital and the Czech state's spiritual center. Czech nobles, dukes and saints are buried within, St. Ludmila among them.
The consecration came in 921. Vratislaus had set the work going, and when he died the church stood finished but unconsecrated; Wenceslaus I saw the project through and laid his grandmother Ludmila to rest there. A Benedictine convent for women rose beside it in 976, and the basilica became the nuns' church. Fire wrecked church and convent during Conrad III's siege of the castle in 1142; rebuilding ran from 1145 to 1151 and brought the pair of towers, Eve to the north and Adam to the south. The Baroque front was added late in the 17th century.
Prague's Baroque and rococo churches are ornate; this one is not, its interior plain limestone block. Two side aisles flank the nave, the towers close the eastern end, and a crypt of three naves lies beneath the chancel. Tombs of the Přemyslid dynasty fill the mausoleum, with relics of many saints. The building became a national cultural monument in 1962 and a concert hall, and it holds the National Gallery Prague's 19th century collection of Bohemian art.
