  1. Two towers and a gabled roof

Two square towers stand at the front of the church, with a cross over the entrance. Print friendly adapts these thin details to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, best on a larger print.

  2. Tall arched windows

Rows of tall arched windows run along the long walls. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps their outlines crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, Jersey City is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, Jersey City takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, Jersey City

In Jersey City, New Jersey, St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church is described as the earliest Coptic Orthodox parish, and the earliest church building of that tradition, in North America, if not in the whole Western Hemisphere. More than 200 Coptic Orthodox churches exist in the United States, and this is one of them. It belongs to the Archdiocese of North America.

The parish was founded from the late 1960s, and its incorporation dates to 1970. The first liturgy was celebrated on March 22, 1970, by Fr. Rafael Younan, who had been serving in Montreal as resident priest since 1968. The large influx of Copts to New Jersey is attributed to persecution in Egypt, alongside emigration for educational and financial opportunities.

Pope Shenouda III made his first pastoral visit to the US and Canada in 1977, and the church was among the places he visited. The building was refitted afresh and consecrated in January 1987. Congregations have since grown enough to allow another 15 parishes in New Jersey alone.
