13 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Palm shapes on the roof
Small palm-like shapes stand on the rooftop. Print friendly adapts thin details like these to the print scale, while Full detail keeps them for a larger print or a fine nozzle.
- Slender posts under the canopy
The curved front canopy rests on thin posts. A larger print size keeps them sturdier, and layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the edges crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Vanderpump Hotel Las Vegas is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Vanderpump Hotel Las Vegas takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About The Vanderpump Hotel Las Vegas
Paradise, Nevada, is home to this boutique casino hotel, which sits on the Las Vegas Strip. It first opened on March 2, 1979 as the Barbary Coast, a name taken from a term once used for the North African coastal regions. Michael Gaughan opened it, and it had Victorian décor. The eight-story building cost $13 million, and it was designed so four more floors could be added later. Those floors were never added, as Gaughan found the property successful enough as it was. It did especially well with local residents.
Before it was built, several neighboring resorts, including Caesars Palace and the MGM Grand, objected, saying the project would cause more traffic congestion at the intersection. Ground was broken on March 3, 1976. In November 1980, the MGM Grand caught fire. The two properties faced each other across the street, so management closed the Barbary Coast to customers for three hours so that evacuated MGM guests could use the property.
Boyd Gaming bought the Barbary Coast in 2004 as part of its purchase of Coast Casinos, and later traded it to Harrah's Entertainment. After Harrah's finalized the deal in February 2007, the property reopened on March 1, 2007, under the name Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon, named for Harrah's founder Bill Harrah. It shut its doors on February 4, 2013, and returned on April 21, 2014 as The Cromwell, with a restaurant from chef Giada De Laurentiis, plus a pool and nightclub on the roof run by Drai.
