Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Curved screen and fins

A curved metal screen with closely spaced projecting blades wraps the west end. Print friendly adapts the thin fins; a larger print or Full detail keeps them separate.

  2. Rooftop terrace and cutout

The roof has an open terrace, a thin shelter and a stepped bird-shaped opening. Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers and a larger print to keep the railings and opening crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Thunderbird School of Global Management Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Thunderbird School of Global Management Building takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Thunderbird School of Global Management Building

The Thunderbird School of Global Management Building is a five-story facility at 401 North 1st Street in Phoenix, Arizona. The facility serves the Thunderbird School of Global Management and houses its graduate programs. The building cost $67 million and takes its name from Phoenix philanthropists Francis and Dionne Najafi. Moore Ruble Yudell and Jones Studio were the architects.

Okland Construction built the project, with construction running from November 2019 to May 2021. A grand opening and naming event followed on April 8, 2022; the event celebrated both the opening and the building's new name. The fifth floor includes the Thunderbird Pub, which has rooftop views of the Phoenix skyline.
