121 m of Torre Europa (Madrid), 34 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A tall office tower
Its height dominates the print, and the facade's repeated vertical lines are the finest part. A larger print or Full detail keeps them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Torre Europa (Madrid) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Torre Europa (Madrid) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Torre Europa (Madrid)
Torre Europa is an office tower in Madrid's AZCA business district in Spain. It was formerly known as Torre de Empsa. The tower was completed in 1985. The Spanish architect Miguel de Oriol e Ybarra designed it, and the Spanish energy company Necso built it. It reaches 121 meters (397 ft), has 30 floors, and is Madrid's eighth tallest building.
The facade is similar to those of the former World Trade Center buildings, though the floor plan is different. A big oval clock sits in the middle of the building, and its light is very visible at night. Banco Hispano Americano was to have its headquarters in the tower, but the bank sold the building in 1985 to an investment group led by Swiss Re, the Swiss reinsurance firm.
A fire broke out on the 29th floor on October 5, 1990, without serious consequences. On May 1, 2002, ETA, a terrorist group, attacked the tower with 20 kilograms (44 lb) of explosive and destroyed some windows. A renovation between 2016 and 2018 added new metallic cladding to the facade; the building has LEED Platinum certification for energy efficiency.
