About Villa Park
Villa Park is the football ground of Aston Villa, in Aston, Birmingham. It seats 43,205 people and has been the club's home since 1897. The site was formerly part of the Aston Lower Grounds, a Victorian amusement park with a sports ground, set in what had been the grounds of the Jacobean stately home Aston Hall. Witton and Aston railway stations are both under a mile away.
Its opening fixture, a friendly against Blackburn Rovers on April 17, 1897, ended in a 3–0 win. The Trinity Road Stand, officially opened on January 26, 1924, was seen as one of the grandest stands in Britain, with stained glass windows, Italian mosaics and Dutch gables that follow the style of Aston Hall. Several commentators regard it as Archibald Leitch's masterpiece. Its Oak Room was the first restaurant of any British football ground.
Prior to 1914, a cycling track circled the pitch and hosted cycling meetings and athletics. Besides football, the stadium has staged concerts, boxing bouts, and rugby league and rugby union internationals. It held the last UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final in 1999 and the 2012 FA Community Shield, with Wembley Stadium occupied by the Olympic football final. No other stadium has hosted as many FA Cup semi-finals: 55.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 12 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 15 mm | 1:3,000 |

- Open truss roofs over the stands
- The stand roofs are drawn as open diagonal trusses. Print friendly adapts thin parts like these to your print scale; Full detail keeps every strut, best with 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers or a larger print.
- Stepped seating and facade detail
- The stands show rows of stepped seating, and the taller stands carry fine wall and gable detail. A bigger print keeps these small features easier to read.
- One piece with the ground
- Villa Park is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Villa Park takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Villa Park is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a Villa Park STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Villa Park grows with the print: about 12 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
