Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Dome and chimney

A pointed glazed dome rises beside a slender chimney with stepped balconies and an open crown. Print friendly adapts the fine cage and dome ribs; a larger print keeps the skyline sharp.

  2. Seven needle turrets

Seven small spire-topped ventilation turrets line the roof. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm and slower printing help these thin spikes stay crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Yenidze is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Yenidze takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Yenidze

Yenidze stands in Dresden, in the German state of Saxony. The former cigarette factory went up between 1907 and 1909, and it serves as an office building. Its Moorish Revival exterior borrows design elements from mosques and from the Alhambra in Spain. Martin Hammitzsch supplied the design in 1907. Its 600 windows come in various styles, and the dome reaches 20 meters (66 ft).

The Jewish entrepreneur Hugo Zietz founded the Yenidze Tobacco and Cigarette Factory, which imported tobacco from Ottoman Yenidze in Thrace, now Genisea in Greece. The Oriental style recalled the exotic origins of the tobacco it processed and also served as advertising for the firm. Large, colored dome chimneys look like minarets, and the building was sometimes called the tobacco mosque, a name no longer officially used because it is not a mosque.

During the Dresden carpet bombing of February 14 and 15, 1945, most buildings around it were destroyed, but Yenidze survived relatively unharmed apart from some loss of colored glass in its dome. It stood in isolation for several decades. Dresden's regrowth in the 1990s made a viable restoration possible, and the building was restored in 1996.
