About the Dekelia Hellenic Air Force Museum hangar
North of Athens, on Dekelia Air Base in Acharnes, stands the Hellenic Air Force Museum. The museum dates from 1986 and has had its home at this base since 1992. Its focus is the history of the air force, in contrast to the War Museum of Athens, and it works actively at restoring old aircraft and presenting them to visitors.
Most of the aircraft in the collection came from the Hellenic Air Force itself, while some arrived through exchanges with other European aircraft museums. A few rare aircraft were recovered from underwater with help from the HAF Underwater Operations Team, known as KOSYTHE, among them a Bristol Blenheim and two Junkers types, the Ju 87 and the Ju 52/3m.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|

| 200 mm | 5 mm | 1:3,000 |

- A wide, low hangar
- The hangar is a wide, low box with a ridged roof. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the fine roof ribs crisp.
- Small windows and wall lines
- Small windows on the end walls and thin vertical lines along the sides are fine detail. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; a larger print keeps them visible.
- One piece with the ground
- The Dekelia Hellenic Air Force Museum hangar is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Dekelia Hellenic Air Force Museum hangar takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions
Is there a Dekelia Hellenic Air Force Museum hangar STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. The Dekelia Hellenic Air Force Museum hangar grows with the print: about 4 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
