14 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 700 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Vaults and the open eyes
Twenty fabric vaults run round the opening, their outer edges arching up over a lattice ring so daylight shows beneath each one. Print friendly adapts those thin edges; Full detail keeps the openings for a larger print.
- The two end arches
Open truss arches rise highest over the two ends, well above the vault crowns beside them. At a small size their chords and zigzag webs can merge, so print larger or use Full detail for them.
- One piece with the ground
Denka Big Swan Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Denka Big Swan Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Denka Big Swan Stadium
Albirex Niigata, of the J1 League, play their home games at the Denka Big Swan Stadium, a multi-purpose ground in the Japanese city of Niigata. It was one of the twenty stadiums used at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, where it hosted three matches, and its capacity is 41,684. Naming rights have changed hands twice: in 2007 Tohoku Electric Power bought them for ¥120 million a year and retitled the ground the Tohoku Denryoku Big Swan Stadium, and in September 2013 Denki Kagaku Kogyo, known as Denka, bought them for ¥70 million a year and rebranded it as the Denka Big Swan Stadium under a three-year deal.
A crowd of 42,223 watched Albirex Niigata play Omiya Ardija on November 23, 2003 — the biggest attendance the ground has recorded — on the closing day of that season's J. League Division 2. Rugby union Top League games are sometimes played there as well, and on May 18, 2008 Japan met Hong Kong at the ground in the 2008 Asian Five Nations. Niigata Kotsu buses from the South Exit of Niigata Station stop a minute's walk away.
