9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- An open oval bowl
The model is an open oval bowl with radial aisles and a low outer wall. Print friendly adapts the thin canopy edges and rim lights; Full detail keeps the tier break and gallery portals at a larger size.
- Layers for the aisles
Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers so the radial aisles, narrow upper tier, and small rim lights stay distinct at the stadium's print size.
- One piece with the ground
Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes
Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes is a multi-purpose stadium in Mexico City's Ciudad de los Deportes district, with room for 34,253 spectators. It is used for association football and American football, and the Tazón México has been played there. Club América has also used it as its home stadium.
On both occasions that Mexico hosted the World Cup, it did not host matches, mainly because of the age of the structure, poor parking, and complex traffic patterns. The ground is built as a pit, with its playing field sunk below the level of the street. The Plaza México, described as the world's largest bullring, stands next door.
Inside there are two locker rooms for professional football teams and two more for referees. A press room seats 50, and a closed-circuit video system uses seventy cameras. The stadium's total capacity of 34,253 includes 92 boxes.
