15 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Slim floodlight masts
Several thin floodlight masts stand around the oval bowl. Print friendly adapts thin parts like these to your print scale; a larger print or Full detail keeps them as modeled.
- Two tiers with a shallow roof
Stepped seating in two tiers sits under a shallow canopy. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps the many seating rows crisp, and a bigger print keeps more of them.
- One piece with the ground
The Estádio Olímpico Monumental is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Estádio Olímpico Monumental takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Estádio Olímpico Monumental
Estádio Olímpico Monumental, which has also gone by Estádio Olímpico de Porto Alegre and, until 1980, simply Estádio Olímpico, is a football stadium in Porto Alegre, a city in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is described as defunct and has a capacity of 45,000. The club Grêmio owns it. It opened on September 19, 1954, and Grêmio played its home games there until moving to the new Arena do Grêmio in December 2012.
Capacity at the 1954 inauguration was 38,000. An expansion in 1980 lifted it to 85,000, and numbering the upper-ring bleachers in 1990 cut it to 51,081. In the first match Grêmio defeated Nacional, of Uruguay, 2–0, with Vitor scoring the first goal. The record crowd of 85,721 came on April 26, 1981, in Ponte Preta's 1–0 win over Grêmio. Grêmio lifted the Copa Libertadores here on July 29, 1983, after beating Peñarol, another Uruguayan side.
The stadium also staged large concerts. Sting gave the first one, in front of 60,000 people. Rod Stewart followed two years later, and Eric Clapton played to a packed house in October 2001. Roger Waters and Rush performed in 2002, and Lenny Kravitz in 2005. Madonna's sold-out show on December 9, 2012, was the last concert held there.
