18 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A wide, low mass
A stadium spreads across its site and rises little, so nearly all of the model's shape sits in plan. A larger print size gives the outline of the building more room to read.
- Edges before layers
With so little height, print size matters more than layer height for this model; layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the corners and the upper edges clean.
- One piece with the ground
The Estádio do Morumbi is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Estádio do Morumbi takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Estádio do Morumbi
The Estádio Cícero Pompeu de Toledo, known simply as Morumbi, is a football stadium in the Morumbi district of São Paulo, Brazil, and the home ground of São Paulo FC. Its formal name remembers Cícero Pompeu de Toledo, who chaired the club through most of the building work and died before the ground opened. It is Brazil's largest privately owned stadium.
The city turned down the club's request for land in Ibirapuera but gave it a plot in Morumbi instead, and actual construction began in 1953. The stadium opened on October 2, 1960, with room for 70,000 spectators, though the work was only concluded in 1970. Its architect, João Batista Vilanova Artigas, gave it a form that counts as a monument of Brazilian modernism, and the city prefecture formally marked it as a cultural building in 2018.
Seating has been trimmed back over the decades, from 72,039 in 2006 to 66,795 by 2012. The inaugural match, on October 2, 1960, ended in a 1–0 win for São Paulo over Sporting Clube de Portugal. Morumbi is also one of the country's two favorite venues for big concerts, and in 2019 it staged the opening match of the Copa América.
