45 m of the Gdańsk Stadium, 13 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Panelled cushion shell
The skin is one smooth cushion, marked by shallow horizontal panel courses crossed by fine girder lines. Print larger, or use Full detail, so the courses do not fill in at this scale.
- Thin rim round the opening
The roof stops at a thin inner edge above the front rows, leaving the field open to the sky. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm and a slower print speed help that rim stay straight.
- One piece with the ground
The Gdańsk Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Gdańsk Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Gdańsk Stadium
The Gdańsk Stadium, known for sponsorship as the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, is a football ground in Gdańsk, in Poland's Pomeranian Voivodeship. Both Lechia Gdańsk, an I liga club, and the Poland women's national team play their home matches there. It holds 41,620 spectators, all of them seated and covered. That puts it second in Ekstraklasa and third in Poland, with only two grounds ahead of it.
Its plan measures some 236 m by 203 m, and it rises 45 m. Amber, long extracted on the Baltic coast, inspired the look of the cladding, and the roof frame uses 82 girders across 44,000 m2. Polycarbonate sheet in 6 shades covers the facade and the roof, roughly 4.5 hectares in all. The stands are covered but the middle of the roof over the field is open; a sliding roof was considered and dropped because of the cost and the limited time to finish the building.
Construction began in 2008 and was completed in mid-2011, and the stadium opened on July 19, 2011. It was one of the designated venues for UEFA Euro 2012, where it hosted three Group C matches and a quarter-final, and it staged the 2021 UEFA Europa League final, in which Villarreal beat Manchester United on penalties.
About this model
The Gdańsk Stadium is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
