11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Floodlight poles and railings
The four tapered floodlight poles and thin railings are the most fragile shapes. Print slowly with good cooling, and choose Full detail for a large print.
- Stage canopy and scoreboard
The open stage trusses and the raised video board have thin supports. Print friendly adapts them at small sizes; 0.12–0.16 mm layers help the frame edges.
- One piece with the ground
Historic Crew Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Historic Crew Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Historic Crew Stadium
Historic Crew Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium beside Interstate 71 in Columbus, Ohio. It was the home of Columbus Crew, the Major League Soccer club, from 1999 until 2021, before the team left for ScottsMiracle-Gro Field. The Crew's OhioHealth Performance Center training base is there too, along with the Columbus Crew 2 side in MLS Next Pro and the Columbus Aviators of the United Football League. It also hosts rugby, lacrosse, American football and soccer at amateur and professional level, plus outdoor concerts, because its north end zone holds a permanent stage.
Opened in 1999, it became the first soccer-specific stadium constructed by a Major League Soccer team, setting a pattern for later MLS grounds. The stadium took the name of Madrid-based Mapfre Insurance under a sponsorship agreement of five years, announced on March 3, 2015. The deal expired in December 2020 and the Crew renamed it. In 2015, Mapfre Stadium and its Director of Grounds, Weston Appelfeller, received the Field of the Year award from the Sports Turf Managers Association for the professional soccer division. Its listed seating capacity is 19,968.
