9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Print the ring large
The circular arena and its tiers carry the shape, so a larger print keeps the outline clean. At the default size, Print friendly adapts the smallest details.
- One piece with the ground
Las Ventas is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Las Ventas takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Las Ventas
Las Ventas is a bullring in the Guindalera quarter of Madrid's Salamanca district. It is Spain's largest bullfighting ring, with 23,798 seats, and ranks third in the world after rings in Mexico and Venezuela. The first stone was placed in 1922, the building was finished in 1929, and a charity bullfight opened it on June 17, 1931.
The architect José Espeliú designed it in the Neo-Mudéjar style, with ceramic images of the provincial coats of arms. Seating is divided into ten tendidos, some in the shade and some in the sun, and the arena measures 60 meters across. The season runs from March to October, with bullfights daily through the San Isidro Fiesta, and on Sundays or holidays otherwise.
The bullring is open for cultural visits under the name Las Ventas Tour, which includes an audioguide in 10 languages, the arena and a bullfighting museum. It has also served as a concert venue, and in 2008 it became a clay tennis court for a Davis Cup semifinal. The Beatles performed there on July 2, 1965.
About this model
