19 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Light masts and tall posts
Slim posts topped with light bars rise above the tall stand. Print friendly adapts thin parts like these to your print scale; Full detail keeps them, best printed slowly with good cooling and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers.
- Stepped rows and outer ribs
The stands are cut into many stepped rows, and narrow ribs line the outer wall. A larger print keeps them easier to read.
- One piece with the ground
Mountain America Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Mountain America Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Mountain America Stadium
Mountain America Stadium is a college football venue, open to the sky, on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe, Arizona. It hosts Arizona State Sun Devils football and opened in 1958. It carried the name Sun Devil Stadium until 2023. Its natural grass field bears the name Frank Kush Field, given in 1996 to honor a former coach of the Sun Devils. A renovation that took five years and cost $304 million finished in August 2019.
The first game there was on October 4, 1958, when Arizona State beat West Texas State 16–13. The original capacity was 30,000; a renovation in 1976 raised it to 57,722, and completion of the upper tier in 1977 brought it to 70,311. Its largest college football crowd, 80,470, came at the 1999 Fiesta Bowl on January 4, 1999, when Tennessee beat Florida State 23–16 to win the national championship. Two bowl games were staged there: the Fiesta Bowl (1971 to 2006) followed by the Cactus Bowl (2006 to 2015).
The NFL's Arizona Cardinals called the stadium home from 1988 through the 2005 season, before they moved to a stadium of their own in Glendale. It hosted Super Bowl XXX in 1996, when the Dallas Cowboys beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 27–17 before 76,347 spectators. A five-phase renovation ran from 2015 to 2019, rebuilding the west and east sides of the lower bowl, adding a video board over the north end zone and completing the club areas.
