10 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Stand roofs around the pitch
The stands surround the pitch, and their roof edges are the finest part at small scales. Print friendly adapts them; Full detail keeps them for a larger print or a finer nozzle.
- Crisp terrace edges
Use layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm and a moderate speed so the front edges of the terraces print cleanly at the default size.
- One piece with the ground
Prenton Park is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Prenton Park takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Prenton Park
Prenton Park is a football ground in the Prenton district of Birkenhead, Merseyside, England. Tranmere Rovers have been its tenants since 1912, and Liverpool Reserves and Liverpool Women also played there in the past. The ground seats 16,587 people across four stands—the Kop, the Main Stand, the Cowshed and the Johnny King Stand—and away fans use the Cowshed.
Councillor George Proudman, then Mayor of Birkenhead, opened the current ground on March 9, 1912; Lancaster Town was the first opponent. Early on it had stands on either side of the pitch, a paddock area and three open terraces. The supporters' association raised £15,000 for floodlights installed in September 1958, and a new Main Stand cost £80,000 when it went up in 1968.
Safety rules changed the ground more than once. The Safety of Sports Grounds Act of 1985 forced capacity down from 18,000 to 8,000 and shut the Kop End. The Taylor Report then called for all-seater stadiums in the top two divisions, so the club rebuilt three sides with new seated stands in 1994 and 1995. That raised capacity from 14,200 to 16,587. The record gate was 24,424, set at a 1972 FA Cup tie with Stoke City.
