Make this print opens the generator on a 650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Leaning pillars and ring beam

Pillars lean outward under a deep ring beam that overhangs a recessed podium, with glass set back behind them. Print friendly adapts the thin pillars; a larger print keeps the overhang clear.

  2. Tent peaks in the membrane

The membrane is pulled up to a peak in each bay between the radial ribs. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the peaks and the folded fascia panels crisp.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Shanghai Stadium takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Shanghai Stadium

Shanghai Stadium, 上海体育场 or Shanghai Tiyuchang, stands in Shanghai, China, and has been rebuilt as a ground for football alone. Shanghai SIPG of the Chinese Super League played its home matches there from 2009 to 2019, and Shanghai Shenhua has been the home side since 2023.

It opened in 1997, the year Shanghai hosted the Eighth National Games of China. It served for the football preliminaries of the 2008 Summer Olympics, the Special Olympics World Summer Games of 2007 opened there, and on August 8, 2015 it staged the Supercoppa Italiana between Juventus and Lazio.

The ground was completely rebuilt between 2020 and 2022. The capacity rose from 56,842 to 72,000, and the running track went as part of the change to a football-only venue. Line 4 of the metro serves the ground, with both Shanghai Stadium and Shanghai Indoor Stadium stations within reach.
