Thermoplan Arena in 3D
The landmark on its own, at its size on a 160 mm print. Print friendly thickens thin parts for a 0.4 mm nozzle; Full detail keeps every part.

- Scale
- 1:3,750
6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Leaning facade fins
A dense screen of thin, outward-leaning fins wraps the bowl above open concourses. Print friendly adapts the fins to the print scale; a larger print or 0.12–0.16 mm layers keeps the rhythm visible.
- Open field and masts
The field is a real opening in the roof ring, and the floodlight masts above it are slender. Full detail keeps the masts and their paired heads; Print friendly simplifies them.
- One piece with the ground
The Thermoplan Arena is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Thermoplan Arena takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Thermoplan Arena
Thermoplan Arena, in Lucerne, Switzerland, is a multi-use venue finished in 2011 and was once called Swissporarena. Football is its main use, and it stages the home matches of FC Luzern in the Swiss Super League. It took the place of the demolished Stadion Allmend.
The ground holds 16,800 spectators in all, a figure that includes an away section that has 390 rail seats for safe standing. Its first match was played on July 31, 2011, and ended in a 0–0 draw with FC Thun.
The stadium had been due to open earlier in 2011, but construction problems changed the plans. In February 2011, FC Luzern announced new season ticket prices ahead of its return home. Since November 2012, an underground station called Lucerne Allmend/Messe has served the ground, and it also serves the surrounding area.
About this model
The Thermoplan Arena is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
