53 m of Tianjin Olympic Centre, 11 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 900 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- The shell and its rim
The drop-shaped shell rises to a thin rim around the oval roof opening, and the glazed base band under it is finely divided. Full detail keeps the rim, seams and mullions; a larger print helps them read.
- Radial seams and skylights
Fine radial seams fork around the V-shaped skylight slots near the top of the shell. Print friendly adapts those small details to your print scale; 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Tianjin Olympic Centre is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Tianjin Olympic Centre takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Tianjin Olympic Centre
The Tianjin Olympic Centre is a sports complex in Tianjin, China, built around a multi-use stadium called the Tianjin Olympic Centre Stadium. Work began in August 2003 and finished in August 2007. The venue's outside was shaped to look like a drop of water, and that gave it the nickname "The Water Drop". The architects were AXS Satow.
The stadium covers 78,000 square meters and holds 54,696 seats. It runs 380 meters (1,250 ft) in length and 270 meters (890 ft) in width, stands 53 meters (174 ft) high, and cost nearly 1.5 billion Yuan. It hosted matches of the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2007, and the football preliminaries for the 2008 Summer Olympics. The athletics competitions of the 2017 National Games of China also took place there.
Inside are gyms, conference rooms, exhibition halls and other sports facilities, with room for entertainment and shopping complexes. Tianjin Jinmen Tiger played its home games at the venue. In 2011 Real Madrid played Tianjin TEDA there, and in October 2014 Mariah Carey performed a concert.
